Procurement performance

Procurement performance is always an exciting subject and can spark much controversy regarding value calculation, recognition by Finance teams, etc.

I believe many benchmarks are not to be taken too seriously regarding exact values and %. However, comparing what works well and where high-performing teams differentiate themselves from others is always a good thing to understand improvement opportunities and potential.

In the recent study by Deloitte, some of the traditional and less traditional KPIs were examined to understand the difference between high-performing CPOs and teams and others.

I think the exciting part for me is where teams ‘Exceeded plans’ and how that compared between the two cohorts – the differences in this part were pretty astounding.

How would you compare yourself to these organizations/teams considering your performance on these KPIs?

In the end, a strategy not implemented is a wasted strategy.
